MAPPING THE PLANETS ACROSS THE USA
SUMMER 2004
SUMMER SEASON SOLARMAP
The dominant weather for a region can often be seen via this solar map.
The Sun is now positioned at the Tropic of Cancer for the beginning of the summer season. For the next three months the Sun travels back to the equator losing a bit daylight each 24 hr period, when the fall season begins in the northern hemisphere.
This graphic, based on the seasonal chart, affords us the view of how the planets fall across the USA. The position of the Sun and the rest of the planets are spread over the USA map and tell a weather story with their very position. The planets represent temperature, moisture and wind indication. The chart and map are good only for the 3-month season, giving the overview of what to expect during the season. Combining this map with the charts and declination as well, much of the weather is predictable.
Detailing the map, note the orange line, Uranus, that runs the length of the west coast. Uranus is relegated to emphasize high pressure, sudden drops in temperature as its cold fronts are attached to the jet stream. Many times Uranus is involved with patterns of record setting weather events and is also found with a mix of planets that identify earthquakes. Uranus is a master 'shake, rattle and roll'. Positioned more closely to land in the northwest, one would find bright thunderstorms akin to the summer season. Off the coast in California Pacific waters could signify the rumblings that could occur.
The next planet is Jupiter (blue line) over interior west cost states. Jupiter aligns itself with the current zodiac sign that is Virgo. Virgo is cold, dry and blustery - dry is not needed in this region. Jupiter will enter Libra near the end of the summer; however, Libra is a sign that tends to dry. Not a good thing since Jupiter runs through Los Angeles as well.
Venus and Pluto (green and black lines) stream through the southwest up towards Fargo ND. The symbolic action of these two planets would be to flooding, but this year, Venus is a drier planet and with Pluto could cause problems with less than expected moisture in this area of the USA. The indications are for more dry conditions.
Moving on to the Sun and Mercury lines (blue and purple) gives us clues to the more typical weather that the south up through inland eastern USA will have the turbulent thunderstorms associated with the fierce hot and cold fronts that will clash for most of the eastern part of the USA.
The last planet, Saturn (brown line) streams off the east coast and would be symbolic of difficult weather in the Atlantic for the summer season. Saturn does cross Cuba and indicates the island will be under hurricane warnings and more.
