MAPPING THE PLANETS ACROSS THE USA

WINTER SEASON SOLARMAP
December 22 2005 - March 21, 2006

The map graphic information is derived from the seasonal ingress chart created for the official first day of winter and affords us the view of where the planets are plotted across the USA. Each planet line represents a type weather at that location. Planets are associated with temperature, moisture and wind indications and certain combinations of planets describe weather events at their locations. This is a useful backup tool in developing a weather report for the three month season, as the indications for this map are determinations that are strong for the season's weather.

The planet lines that cascade over the map of the USA are a reflection of the winter season planet influences. Each planet line represents a description of particular weather ingredient at that location. Planets are associated with temperature, moisture and wind indications and certain combinations of planets describe weather events at their locations. The map is a useful backup tool in developing a national weather report for the three month season. Most important is that each planet line shown on the map is found angular, that is, on the 1st, 4th, 7th or 10th house cusp at a particular location. Planets found on the angles at a location are usually guaranteed to experience that planet's weather influence.

The northwest is heavily influenced by Venus (wet - green) Neptune (flooding - aqua) and Saturn (cold -brown) lines. These three planet lines were present for the record-breaking hurricane summer season and will probably bring flooding events to the northwest.

The Mercury (wind, purple) line extends along the whole of the west coast. In the sign Sagittarius, Mercury can bring up to gale force winds early in the season.

Another grouping of three planet lines is found at the Rocky Mtns. Uranus (cold, orange), the Moon (wet - purple), and Pluto (intensity - black). The very moist systems coming into the northwest will carry on over the Rockies and there is the possibility of record setting snowfalls here, the more southerly states less.

The middle section of the USA has the Sun (hot - blue) shining over it. I think this brings up the overview of the season where my idea is a season of great variations in temperature taking place. This area of land will see warm and dry conditions changing over the wet and snowy conditions. This is not a rare forecast but I do think that the wide variations will be a good part of the winter scene.

At the northeast quarter of the map Mars (hot - red) and Jupiter (mild - blue) dominate the weather picture. Together Mars and Jupiter usually provide hot and dry conditions. However, the planets are found in the zodiac signs Taurus and Scorpio, both wet/moist signs. It is possible that it will be a warmer winter overall. Pray that it is so! Avoiding paying more for fuel would be a relief to many.

The fluctuations in temperature seem strong enough when combined with the declination positions where four planets are found together for January and February. Venus, Jupiter are pairing up with Neptune and Pluto. In general the combination is for warmer, wetter weather with intensity and destruction.
