MAPPING THE PLANETS ACROSS THE USA
SPRING 2006
SPRING SEASON SOLARMAP
March 20 - June 21, 2006The map graphic information is derived from the seasonal ingress chart created for the official first day of spring and affords us the view of where the same planets are plotted across a map of the USA. Each planet line represents a type weather at that location. Planets are associated with temperature, moisture and wind indications and certain combinations of planets describe weather events at their locations. This is a useful backup tool in developing a weather report for the three month season, as the indications for this map are determinations that are strong for the season's weather. The first planet to view is the black line of Pluto streaming across the Rocky Mtns. Pluto by itself offers intensity of weather described by other planets. To be more clear, note that the Pluto lines up and crosses with Uranus and Mercury (orange and purple lines) through the four state region of Utah, Colorado, Nevada and Oklahoma. The forecast is dry and extremely windy conditions for this area already on the dry side. The winds for the northern states of Montana and Wyoming bear close watching as well.
The Sun (blue line) is perched in the same midsection of the country as in the winter forecast. The warmer winter temps and dry conditions in the southern area should continue through spring. A closer review of this area can be found in the national highlights weeks summaries. Wildfires and drought persist.
The last line to discuss in the Saturn (brown line) curving through New York and the mid-Atlantic states. Normally this planets tends to cold and dry but can take on the attributes of the sign it transits. Saturn is in the sign Leo for the next two years, a hot and dry sign. *McCormack writes that when Saturn is in the dry, fiery sign Leo, intense heat with attendant high humidity in lowlands has been observed. Also, on August 7, 1918 when the Sun formed a parallel to Saturn in Leo, a record high temperature of 102 degrees was officially recorded on that date in New York City. On August 11, when the Sun conjuncted Saturn, the intense heat wave was broken. This confirmed his forecast in Azoth Magazine in August 1918. Spring weather along the Saturn line will tend to be dry and warmer than average, leading to drought conditions. With early warming of the coastal waters, it is a warning for early tropical systems to develop.
