DECLINATION OBSERVATIONS for SUMMER 2006

Transiting Planets in Declination from June 21 - September 21, 2006

DECLINATION - Measuring the planets and Moon by degrees north or south of the equator.

Studying the declination positions along with the horoscope chart and observing the solarmap graphic information adds interesting details to the long range forecast. The declination planet lines perform a graceful dance through the heavens and when the planet lines cross there is a related weather event that is usually more impacting than the average weather for a designated location. At the beginning of the season, the Sun is always found at the north Tropic of Cancer. Trace the Sun's line (blue) on the graph from the high position at the top left of the graph. Trace the blue line down through the middle of the graph where the Sun will be at the fall position at the equator. Note the position of the Moon on the graph as it climbs higher each season and is now achieving its standstill position 29 degrees north and south declination, the maximum high degrees and minutes it can achieve during its cycle. The official standstill of the Moon in declination is achieved in this year. Here is a url to further explore this natural phenomenon cycle. http://www.iol.ie/~geniet/eng/moonperb.htm The summer season begins with the Moon intersecting with Venus, Mars, Saturn and Mercury during the end of June. Strong thunderstorm and wind activity will be the result and more so with the Moon achieving a maximum north position at the same time as a new Moon. Please note the addition of the lunation symbols to the graph and the eclipse symbols are included in September. Mars brings its heating element to the northern hemisphere this season and begins its trek down under in September. Mid September brings the addition of Saturn in aspect to the ongoing parallel of Pluto and Neptune. Jupiter returns as well and Mars is caught up in the turbulence and dread that goes with a Saturn involvement. The Solar Map graphic carries more information as well as the 2006 Hurricane Report. Pluto, Neptune and Jupiter remain parallel (together) in the south at 15-16 degrees, further inciting the issues around oil, religion and disease. Astrologers can enjoy further information by reading the articles on the Magnificent Parallel and at Astrid Fallon's website
