MAPPING THE PLANETS ACROSS THE USA
SUMMER 2006
SUMMER SEASON SOLARMAP
June 21 - September 21, 2006The summertime weather outlook across the nation is described here. In the west, look for warm and windy conditions along the coast, with extreme weather events inland along the mountains. High pressure will dominate the season, with the southwest perhaps having deadly abnormally hot temperatures. Mexico's hurricane season begins in May and in June, the tropical weather forms without delay.
In the central states, the season should be more moist and mild overall. The moisture should carry over to the Great Lakes region but with periods of high heat midsummer. The southeastern states will be dry and windy with extreme heat paving the way for another hard hurricane season in the southern waters. Devastating fires are to be noted here as well. The northeast and mid Atlantic states are under a stormy influence that has all the elements for severe thunderstorms and periods of high heat early in the season for the northern states.
Starting at the west, The Sun and Neptune lines (shades of blue) represent heat and moisture. Across the Rocky Mountains, the Pluto (black line) is tending to send a message of extreme types of weather and since the Pluto line intersects with the Sun line, that would indicate dryness and warnings of extreme fire danger. The orange line of Uranus influences more of the Rockies and into the western/central states but it does intersect with Pluto and Sun lines to send the message of extreme and record setting events in the Arizona plus surrounding states and Mexico. Streaking across the middle USA states and the southeast down through Florida and Cuba is the purple line of Mercury, the planet that governs wind velocity. It will be more windy along this line but the accompanying weather will be different from north to south. Windy weather through Florida and Alabama sets the stage for drying and brush fires but the varying weather systems will also produce a lot of moisture therefore localizing the brush fires. The last lines to discuss are the Saturn and Mars (brown and red lines) curving through New York and the northeastern states. Normally these planets represent the cold and hot fronts but will also take on the attributes of the sign it transits as well. The zodiac sign is Leo for Saturn in the next year, a hot and dry sign. *McCormack writes that when Saturn is in the dry, fiery sign Leo, intense heat with attendant high humidity in lowlands has been observed. On August 7, 1918 when the Sun formed a parallel to Saturn in Leo, a record high temperature of 102 degrees was officially recorded on that date in New York City. On August 11, when the Sun was with Saturn, the intense heat wave was broken. This confirmed his long range forecast in Azoth Magazine in August 1918. He also writes that the combination of Mars and Saturn in Leo are, as planets, diametrically opposed in character resulting in conflicting currents in the atmosphere and therefore destructive windy storms form in the lowlands. Isolated atmospheric turbulences are most intense during the warm seasons with attendant vicious storms." Bermuda, the Atlantic Ocean, Puerto Rico and the islands are in the path of the Mars and Saturn configuration. Great Jupiter (blue line) in watery, intense Scorpio and the very wet Moon joins in the fray at the islands. The systems that develop in the islands ultimately travels to the USA. The islands are forwarded to the impending dangers of this tropical season. Later in the summer, Neptune comes in to aspect Saturn, creating a profound influence in the southern tropical storm outlook. This pair are no friends to the people in hurricane prone areas. In the follow up article to the Magnificent Parallel, more information is found regarding the declination influence of the planets during the peak of hurricane season. This article is noted on the home page of the website. http://www.weathersage.com From the Spring Map 2006, I wrote "Spring weather along the Saturn line will tend to be dry and warmer than average, leading to drought conditions. With early warming of the coastal waters, it is a warning for early tropical systems to develop. "
