DECLINATION OBSERVATIONS for WINTER 2006
Transiting Planets in Declination from December 21, 2006 to March 25, 2007
DECLINATION - Measuring and following the position of the planets and Moon by degrees north or south of the equator for a three month period. Studying the declination positions along with the horoscope chart and observing the solarmapping graphic information adds interesting details to the seasonal long range forecast.
The lines on the graph presents a picture of the planets as they perform a graceful dance through the heavens. When the planet lines cross each other there is a related weather event that is usually more impacting than the average weather for a designated location.
At the beginning of the winter season, the sun is always found at the Tropic of Capricorn, its maximum position in declination. Trace the sun's line (blue) on the graph from the this position and watch it rise to the equator in March. Note the position of the moon (dark blue line) on the graph; it has achieved its standstill position this year at 29 degrees north and south declination, the maximum high degrees it can possibly achieve during its cycle. Look at this website to further explore this natural phenomenon cycle. http://www.iol.ie/~geniet/eng/moonperb.htm
The winter season begins with the separating parallel lines of Pluto and Neptune. Jupiter has moved further south and will parallel Uranus mid February. Astrologers can read more information about times in history in articles on the Magnificent Parallel and at Astrid Fallon's website.
Early in the season, the Sun, Mercury and Venus
parallel each other that will enhance stormy
weather in general at various locations around
the globe. The red Mars line crosses many planet
lines early in the season, insuring weather that
will be turbulent and/or warmer, in nature. In
mid January, the Sun, Moon and Mercury lines
converge for another winter storm. In early
February, Mercury and Venus will travel together
to create unstable warm/cold fronts. The Sun and
Mercury lines cross once more at the end of
February adding power to another storm. In early
March at the time of the full Moon, the Sun and
Moon are with Uranus. This lineup should bring
high pressure and freezing temps for many
areas. At the first of springtime we can expect
a sudden warming trend bringing promise and smiles.
Observations, comments and forecasts are welcome.
