WINTER SEASON SOLARMAP
December 21 2006 - March 21, 2007

The solarmap is a useful backup tool in developing a weather report for the three month season. The planet line placement on a map of the USA helps the viewer to quickly determine where the strongest influence on weather may take place. The planet line positions are taken from the chart (horoscope) based on the moment the Sun enters the sign of Capricorn. The position of the Sun is now at the Tropic of Capricorn for the start of the official winter season. The most intense positions are displayed with colored lines denoting the planet. For example the planet Saturn is always problematic in weather assessment; therefore, where the brown Saturn line is found represents the type of weather that may be dominant for a season. Other factors can override the information.

Planets are associated with temperature, moisture and wind indications and certain combinations of planets describe weather events at their locations. Each planet line is derived from the actual horoscope wheel. The four power points displayed on the map are the ascendant (1st house cusp), the immum coeli (4th house cusp), the descendant (7th house cusp) and the midheaven (10th house cusp).

Solar Map Analysis Winter along the much of the west coast will be difficult this year. Saturn, a dismal and severe influence (brown line) and Mercury, the wind, (purple line) strengthens the forecast of stormy conditions. Saturn often produces low pressure conditions. Check the weekly trends for more detail. Along the Rocky Mountains, the convergence of the Sun, warm (blue line), Pluto, extreme, violent (black line) and Uranus, freezing and at times, record-setting (orange line) will provide an abundance of snow and stormy conditions.

Mid-America displays the Venus, wet (green line) and Moon, wet (blue line) for a double dose of precipitation. The remaining portions of the map are clear of planet line indications, however, there will be weather to describe and the information will come from the analysis of various other models/charts.
