MAPPING THE PLANETS ACROSS THE USA
FALL 2007

FALL SEASON SOLARMAP
September 23, 2007 - Decenber 21, 2007

One of the many tools or models used to forecast weather, the solarmap provides a fantastic visual. With this wonderful tool, the colored lines streaming across the map of the USA provides an excellent visual. Each line represents one of the planets in our solar system; each planet represents a form of weather which could impact the area where it falls. The colored planet line positions are taken from the chart (horoscope) based on the moment the Sun enters the sign of Libra. The position of the Sun is now at the equator and each day it will continue to move south for the next three months. The planet lines represent the type of weather that could be dominant for the season, for the area in which it is located. For example the planet Mercury over the west coast this fall should provide strong winds for the Santa Ana season; not a pleasant thought. The planet Mercury represents weather as cold, dry and windy. The planets you see are placed at four power points on the horoscope and are displayed on the map as the ascendant (1st house cusp), the immum coeli (4th house cusp), the descendant (7th house cusp) and the midheaven (10th house cusp).

Fall 2007 Solar Map Analysis

Beginning at the west coast, there is an obvious planet, Mercury. The individual charts for the coast must be analyzed in combination with the solar map indication in order to make a more detailed and definite seasonal forecast, however, the winds are strong right from the start of fall. The Mercury line, purple, is visible through the northwest as well. Windy, wet storms will prevail along with fluctuating temperatures in this extreme weather season.

The dark purple line of the Moon threads its way over the mountains. Dry Las Vegas will have significant downfall and rain will be evident along the ridge of the Moon up through normally wet Seattle! The two planet combination of wet Venus and Neptune gives an image of romantic gondolas poling along the path of the turquoise and green lines from El Paso up through Idaho, though the areas that are in drought condition right now will be grateful for the precipitation.

The rough weather usually has Saturn (brown line) presiding in the area. Louisiana through Fargo, ND will find the Saturn taskmaster dictating the stormy season ahead. Jupiter, the blue line and the Uranus orange line are very much together along the eastern third of the USA. Exploring Jupiter - when it is found here in the ic (4th house cusp) position can indicate a great growing season. Jupiter is very strong in its own sign of Sagittarius, reinforcing the pleasant weather although Jupiter is a dry indication in dry Sagittarius. But! The effects of Uranus residing so closely to Jupiter must be examined as well. Cold dry and representative of high pressure, Uranus can suddenly produce weather that can be record setting. Therefore, Jupiter and Uranus together will be part of the extreme weather setup for this fall. As a pair, Jupiter and Uranus will contrive to bring in cooler stormy weather and when the individual weekly models verify, copious rainfall. The winds in New England this season are very strong.

The remaining planet lines over the Atlantic are Pluto (black) and Mars (red) and the Sun would signify the heating of the Atlantic and Bermuda looks like a great vacation destination with warmer than normal temps.

The Florida Hurricane Report for 2007 has been very accurate from June through the summer - with Saturn, Jupiter and Uranus all stirring the pot of weather this fall, will there be more to come?
