SPRING SEASON SOLARMAP
March 21, 2007 -June 21, 2007

The solarmap provides additional information when developing a weather report for a three month season. The planet line placement on a map of the USA helps the viewer to quickly determine where some of the strongest weather events may take place. The colored planet line positions are taken from the chart (horoscope) based on the moment the Sun enters the sign of Aries, where the position of the Sun is at the Equator for the start of the spring season. The lines represent the most intense positions at a glance. For example the planet Saturn is always problematic in weather assessment; therefore, where the brown Saturn line is found assures the observer that weather difficulties are guaranteed.

Planets are associated with temperature, moisture and wind indications and certain combinations of planets describe weather events at their locations. Each planet line is derived from the actual horoscope wheel. The planets are placed four power points on any horoscope and are displayed on the map as the ascendant (1st house cusp), the immum coeli (4th house cusp), the descendant (7th house cusp) and the midheaven (10th house cusp).

Solar Map Analysis - Springtime is usually a beautiful season with the awakening of the land in most places in the USA. In my local New England forecast I write that there is not a lot of interesting weather events this season. Looking at the SolarMap for all of the USA, the immediate impression is the same.

Beginning at the west coast, the purple Mercury line suggests more than just breezes; a windier than usual season and southern California will be very dry. The Uranus orange line and the node line (the node has no weather value but suggests more intensity overall) is at the place where mountains and the Colorado plateau merge. Uranus is usually a very cold line indicating that temperatures may be below normal for the season and it also suggests that dry conditions will exist - not good news for some of the fire prone areas.

A fortunate Jupiter blue line reigns over the midwest to insure an excellent growing season. Next is the analysis of the Pluto black line with the Sun line, blue. Not so fortunate will be the increase of tornados and intense weather events for Tornado Alley. The storms actually will began earlier in March.

The remaining portions of the map are clear of planet line indications, however, there will be weather and the information will come from the analysis of various other models/charts. The descriptions can be found in the national and local (New England) weekly summaries.
