INTRODUCTION

Long Range weather forecasting is made possible to the public by astrometeorologists via this website. Your local and national scientific and television meteorologists cannot contribute to a long range forecast, a given fact. Their forecasts are based on statistics and radar and seldom last for three days.

The forecast you find here is developed using ancient methods that produced information hundreds of years ago and are still viable today. Our forecasts are developed for anytime into the future and the weather is described in terms of hot, cold, wet or dry or in simple chatty terms.

The free weather reports written by astrometeorologists will often give you an overview of an entire season, weekly summaries, and in some locales, a three day forecast. Since we very often break Mother Nature's code, we do charge for our services. The extreme conditions we have experienced for several seasons will prevail for the next several years and weathersage was first to write about the events in 2008. Surely you have noticed or worse, been a part of the flooding in many parts of the country, out of season tornadoes, and extreme weather conditions.

The only way to adjust to the weather is to be prepared for it well in advance. Read the free weather reports here every season and be smart, be aware and prepare.

NATIONAL TRENDS

Reviewing the spring report - No one can doubt the extreme weather forecast for spring. Super warm temps in Texas, tornado action high in the Great Lakes region. Vicious thunderstorms all along the Appalachians - all accurate. Please remember that all the weather events were forecast months in advance of the actual season.

National Trends for Summer USA

In the west, there will be many fair and pleasant days but the winds will be strong, drying out the land. Southern California begs the usual question of when the winds begin to blow what will happen? Later in the season, the heat and the wind are intensified, bringing a more than average Santa Ana fire season unfortunately.

The southwest region of the states is under a flood forecast as tropical systems will tend to flow in their direction. In the northern plains, the intense heat and humidity will be very uncomfortable. The southern plains states are under a heat advisory as well; severe thunderstorms will be expected throughout the season, more severe towards August/Sept.

The summer forecast for Texas weather is similar to the spring indications of high heat. Record setting (is that possible?) temperatures prevail. More than likely, hurricanes will spawn or travel to the Gulf.

The southeast forecast is a hefty one. The fronts that come by the southeast will bring violent thunderstorms, hail and dry lightning at times. Extreme high pressure up against low pressure create a whirlwind of weather action, including hurricanes.

Florida falls in the category of mixed weather conditions where early tropical storms have appeared offshore (as forecast for spring) and wind activity is extremely strong throughout the whole state as well as the southeast. It will be a summer to remember.

Mixed conditions are slated for the mid-Atlantic states as well as the northeast.

HINTS FOR FALL 2010 WEATHER in the USA
Along the west coast, there is a moisture influence which could keep fires at bay. The Santa Ana season doesn't look as potent as in years past. Could it possibly be quiet for the center of the country? The more disastrous events are just not obvious in the models for fall. The eastern third of the country will be experiencing tropical weather conditions with some areas receiving flooding rains. Florida falls directly in the path of the tropical events along with strong winds - good material for hurricane soup. Details to follow in the fall report.

NEW ENGLAND & THE NORTHEAST SUMMER FORECAST

Local Forecast for Southern New England and Regional Northeast.
Review:
Accurately forecast - the winds dominated the spring season. The winds kept the temperatures down and early tropical events were reported on the weather channel but didn't make headlines that anyone would remember except they were forecast in this report! The Farmer's Almanac wrote that the reservoirs would be low in spring - they were wrong! The weekly weather for New England gave 3 stormy weeks and 8 weeks with mixed weather events. Historical flooding in March was forecast. The 3 better weeks of the season were an absolutely joyous springtime we all wish for and received.

Overview for Summertime: The strong velocity of winds continue throughout the summer. The sky turned electric in spring and severe thunderstorms will continue throughout the summer. Storms and power outages will be higher than average. When have you heard of so much large hail falling? The jet stream has the capability of reaching new parameters; how this will work out for weather I am not sure. Since high level wind activity can shear the hurricane clouds, the recently projected 24 storms (by the National Hurricane Center) may not reach its goal. That total will probably change a few more times before the season is over. This report will not change. I will also add that the summer could be cooler than average overall for the northeast. The extreme influences are still in place and may affect every forecast with roller coaster temperatures and fast moving storms.

DISCLAIMER: Weather descriptions in this report are not meant to raise panic, but to only assure you that severe weather is a part of the forecast. It is my intention to alert you to the possibilities and to remind you that some of the storms are localized and preparedness is the key to personal safety. Carolyn Egan

WEEKLY SUMMARIES for New England and the Northeast

The following forecasts contain weekly summaries describing the weather for each 7-8 day lunar period. Not all weather events are described. Daily forecasts are available - see below.

Saturday June 19 - 25, 2010 Quarter Moon

Cool temps and strong winds will change over to sunny conditions, a delightful start to the summer season. For the rest of the period, alternating fronts will bring in more rain then over to warm and dry again.

Saturday June 26 - July 3, 2010 Full Moon

Fair, warm and dry. Seasonable temperatures until strong breezes drop the temp a few degrees more than likely from localized T-storms.

Sunday July 4 - 10, 2010 Quarter Moon

High pressure digs in and hot weather and dry conditions may grace this great holiday. The heat will create the chance of T-storms which will be sudden and sharp and localized. Windy near the 8th. Possible downpours from the south on the 11th - see next period.

Sunday July 11 - 17, 2010 New Moon - (Solar Eclipse 10 degrees Cancer, Perigee July 13th)

The models are giving a scenario that compares to the Rhode Island flooding late March. Heavy rainfall is expected. The wind model projects a rough event as well. Roller coaster temps throughout the week with changing clouds, sun and clear skies.

Sunday July 18 - 24, 2010 Quarter Moon

Warm and fair weather begins this week. A temperature drop brings in cooler air, clouds and rainy periods. The winds remain higher than normal.

Sunday July 25 - Aug 2, 2010 Full Moon

Another extraordinary high pressure event combining with low pressure sets off severe thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds; tempestuous winds. The winds come in from the south and have a tropical bent to them. Haze, fog and mists are prominent in this warp weather week.

Tuesday August 3 - 8, 2010 Quarter Moon

Sunshine is most appreciated - how hot would you like it! Gorgeous summer weather is in the forecast. Showers could show up near the 8th.

Monday August 9 - 15, 2010 New Moon - (SuperMoon Aug 10th, Perigee Aug 10th)

Incredible weather events throughout Middle America and in the Gulf. A deluge is expected here as the leftovers from the extraordinary weather activity that pumps in from the west. Cooler temps for most of the period; raincoats should be ready!

Monday August 16 - 23, 2010 Quarter Moon

The wind is threatening to exert its power in our region. Tropical moisture from the Gulf and very agitated skies doesn't look good for this week's vacationers. Rain is coming our way.

Tuesday August 24 - 31, 2010 Full Moon

Flooding indications to the west of New England will eventually track here. Humid conditions with the tropical influence from the south can also bring on the fog or peculiar weather. High pressure comes into play towards the end of the period.

Wednesday September 1 - 7, 2010 Quarter Moon

A pleasant week of weather is ahead. Scattered T-storms near the 5th.

Wednesday September 8 - 14, 2010 New Moon - (SuperMoon Sept 8th, Perigee Sept 8th)

Another good weather period - how nice is that? Scattered T-storms are always around during warm weather days. Any rain clouds should be north of Rhode Island.

Wednesday, September 15 - 22, 2010 Quarter Moon

The week ahead has very pleasant connotations. There is nasty weather to the west of us that may stay where it is and go out to sea near the Carolinas as they are the likely target of a low pressure event.

HINTS FOR AUTUMN 2010 WEATHER IN NEW ENGLAND

Are the extreme weather conditions over? NO! Keep a good stock of emergency supplies - first aid kit, candles, sterno and canned foods. Card games are fun by candlelight. Cool to cold and dry are the initial observations. Rain will be in the category of deluges as tropical storms brush our coastline. The details will be in the free hurricane report and in the fall long range report September 21, 2010.

EARTHQUAKE STUDIES

An ongoing two-year study on earthquakes in Chile, prepared by Carolyn Egan (Weathersage), has proved to be successful using the principles of long range forecasting. Both the 6.3 magnitude quake that occurred Dec. 18, 2008 and the Feb. 27, 2010 8.8 magnitude were forecast for Chile. No other forecaster can make this claim.

The next alert is during July, 2010. For the full Moon period (8 days) July 25th, there is a lineup of planet energy that had me designate the week as a caution, to be prepared, to be safe.

The report contains the seismic forecast through September 2010 describing weeks that are potent for activity or more calm conditions. If the technique sustains itself during this time, then Mother Nature's code will have been broken for earthquake studies. The study is complete on September 21, 2010. The details will be documented.

ASTROMETEOROLOGY

Astrometeorology, the system used in this report was first practiced about 1,000 years ago by the ancients and improved upon in the days of Kepler and Goad. The 20th century produced more information and technique from George J. McCormack and C. C. Zain. With the advent of computers and the internet, I have improved the methods and can now produce an accurate daily forecast for a location. Through the newly released long range weather course, astrometeorology is being studied on every continent. Click here to see what the weather course has to offer.

PERIGEE AND SYZYGY: SuperMoons - August 10 and September 8, 2010

TERMINOLOGY

*Perigee periods, as noted in the forecasts, occur when the Moon is closest to Earth every month. The trend for weather is toward intensification with the stronger gravitational pull of the Moon on Earth at this time. The tides will be higher and lower than normal near the exact date, plus there will be an increase in the wind activity. When the Moon is at perigee and at the same time it is also a new or full Moon, it is called a 'SuperMoon'.

A syzygy is a situation where three celestial bodies are positioned along a straight line. The term is also applied to each instance of New Moon or Full Moon when Sun and Moon are in conjunction or opposition, even though they are not precisely on one line with the Earth.

**SuperMoon is a term coined by Richard Nolle, Astrologer. He defines the SuperMoon as a perigee-syzygy; namely a new or full moon which occurs at or near (within 90% of) perigee. Check his website for the complete list of SuperMoon dates..

Meteorology even with the aid of weather satellites, computers and modern high-speed communication facilities, never will succeed in dealing intelligently with anomalies of weather beyond the actual time and progress of the phenomena.

----George J. McCormack, Astrometeorologist 1965, Fairlawn, NJ

CREATING THE LONG RANGE FORECAST

The long range weather forecast is created using many very old techniques. The ancients were able to forecast weather dating back to texts from the 1500s. Today, Astrometeorologists forecast weather using the Moon’s position in relation to the distance from earth, planetary configurations and natural lunar cycles. The models used by the ancients are recreated and improved upon each year, producing weather reports unlike any other. In addition, a weather website and a weather list are available to everyone. The many features on the website may interest those who enjoy weather information. Look for the free on-line books, and other resources.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Can anyone do something about the weather? Yes! Forewarned is forearmed. In this free report, weather is summarized for each of the 13 weeks of the entire season. The national highlights report scans the potential weather systems that will affect the season and the local New England report has more detail.

We can give credit to meteorologists and the U.S. Weather Service for their fine work with statistics and current weather reports; however, they continue to be weak in the area of long range forecasting and hurricane movement as witnessed during that season.

The report you are reading has been created from methods that were used hundreds of years ago, tools that include the natural cycles of the Moon, Sun and planetary positions. Forecasting weather 3 months, or 3 years into the future is doing something about the weather.

Doing something about the weather is possible if you know the forecast months or a year/s in advance. Many corporations pay dearly for the long range information that is available from the company started by Dr. Irving Krick. Check this website to read the books http://www.weathersage.com/texts/boesen2/ and this website to see where his company has gravitated. http://www.planalytics.com/app/corp/start.jsp

This report is free and contains local long range weather forecasts for the entire 3 month season for New England, plus a section on national weather highlights. Be sure to click on the useful and informative graphics where more information is available.
