Special thanks to Alphee Lavoie, a Connecticut astrologer, who came to Rhode Island in 1991 to lecture on various topics. One of the lectures was about long range weather forecasting which intrigued me at the time. Because of Alphee's initial talk he is now on the Tributes page on my website that is dedicated to developing and popularizing Astrometeorology.

Alphee has had a successful career as an astrologer and has given lectures all over the world on weather forecasting, electional and financial astrology to name a few of his talents. His weather work has been published in Dell Horoscope Magazine, Magical Blend Magazine and the Hartford Courant Newspaper's NorthEast Magazine. In addition, Alphee gave weather forecasts on a weekly radio show, The Astrology Almanac, for about 16 years. Alphee's website offers a lot of information to astrologers.
